All methods of "alternative" for the treatment of psoriasis?

I have psoriasis on the face and arms … other method good alternative?

I know it sounds silly, but it worked for two people I know. Take a ripe banana, peel and rub skin on the affected area. Do it at least twice a day. I'm sure it did not work for everyone, but it's worth trying. It will several weeks to see a change, if it will work.
